Jessica Paglia is an employment and labour lawyer at SpringLaw, a Canadian virtual law firm that practises exclusively in employment, labour, and human rights law. Background

Jessica holds a JD from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and is called to the bar in Ontario. Before joining SpringLaw, she worked in the Labour and Employment Group at Miller Canfield, where she advised both Canadian and American clients on labour disputes, grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining, employment contracts, and workplace safety and insurance matters. She has appeared before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, and Ontario’s Small Claims Court.

Her practice at SpringLaw focuses on providing employers with practical, compliance-first legal advice. She regularly advises on Employer of Record (EOR) structures, employment standards obligations, termination procedures, and the provincial regulatory requirements that foreign companies must navigate when hiring in Canada. She also conducts third-party workplace investigations.

Jessica is a regular contributor to SpringLaw’s award-winning employment law blog and has been published in Lexology, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and Canada Employment & Human Rights Law.
